Thank you for visiting the North Carolina Health Care Facilities Association Web site.
As you navigate this site looking for answers to any questions you may have, we hope that you will learn valuable information about the services that Skilled Nursing Facilities in North Carolina provide for your loved ones.
The Journey to National Best in skilled nursing care is NCHCFA’s deliberate effort to transform skilled nursing homes into facilities and services of the future. Our aim is to aggressively and strategically plan to meet the demands and expectations of our long-term health care consumers and families. To strengthen and transform NC nursing homes, we are focusing on the issues that contribute to the lives of our residents and the staff who care for them.
With constant changes in healthcare, the need for education expands. NCHCFA serves to establish and promote programs of education for maintaining high standards of professional care and administration in member facilities. NCHCFA’s educational programs cover the most current issues related to long term health care.
At NCHCFA, our core purpose is to assist you in providing the highest quality of long-term care services available for your residents. Membership opportunities are available for nursing home facilities and businesses supplying products and services to the health care profession.
We encourage you to download a membership application – it’s the first step toward establishing a valuable professional partnership that offers the most current long-term care information, education and advocacy.
It’s a step that will tell residents, providers and consumers that you are committed to providing the highest quality long-term care.
The NCHCFA Fab 50 program was established in 2000 as a means to enable co-workers to recognize their peers for the exceptional work they do every day. Front line, unlicensed personnel are nominated based on their dedication to the profession, advocacy, team support, educational achievements and community outreach. The final selection is made by the NCHCFA Education Committee.
